I'm back from a longer hiatus to blog once a week again. Sorry for the sudden absence, stuff happened and time was tight.

Anyway, I come bringing gifts!

SO first up, the big news: the website is finally finished! Run check it out, it has a portfolio section, a news section and other neat stuff:)

I'm pleased with how it turned out, thank you so much to my awesome dutch web coder dude^^ 

And then I have this drawing, which started out as fanart of Adnan Cly from Cheri Priests Clockwork Century novels... But things changed and it ended up as a doc worker in London:P

I also finished this drawing, which I started like, billions of months ago:P It started out quite different, and after taking two months away from it, I decided it was better to start over from scratch..

Other than that, I've also started a society6 shop thing! So if you feel like buying some drawings, head over to a-vinter (http://society6.com/avinter) on society6 and get your dose.

There's not a lot of stuff there atm, as I'm having some trouble finding out what people would be interested in buying... If you have any requests, let me know^^

Last weekend I was in Trondheim at Torucon, shearing a table with Drink 'n' Draw Trondheim. Was nice meeting an old friend again and chatting. It was also interesting to see what needs to be on a table to sell anything at conventions like this:P I sold the massive amount of 3 prints, but my co-sellers sold plenty more and I'm really proud of them^^

I also have a bunch of sketches, but that's for next time. No point in making the comeback post too big:P

So that was all I had this time around...

yes, I'm overtired and I intend to go to bed very soon... at six in the morning...

When I remembered that it was blogger friday yesterday, it was already kinda late... And I like to think people have lives, unlike me, and probably don't sit in front of their computers all day, so I thought it best to post today.

I have, since last time, started a bunch of new drawings... and a new project. I don't know why I torture my self with piles of unfinished projects and drawings, but alas, that my life...

I did however, go to two life drawing sessions this (last?) week! I'm proud. I went out of the house, not once, but TWICE this week!

As you're such and adorable bunch, have some life drawings, drawn from life o3o

(don't pay attention to the text in the corner, one of the guys recommended a book and I had to write it down before I forgot... I've ordered that book now >_> and I've made them grey scale because my scanner scans the tanned paper badly:/)

What else happened... YES, last weekend we were in Sweden, in a wedding. As we drove there, I spent some parts of the trip analyzing trees for one of my projects. So here, have some tree sketches^^

And then I doodled this a few hours ago... Because that's how I feel when I loose followers in social media OnO

Ok, that was all I had for this time... And next time, I'll be back with some finished digital drawings! oh yeeaah.

Hello interwebs,

Sorry for the skip in post, I've been extremely busy as of late, but now things seems to be calming down a bit:)

I don't have any drawings to share with you today, but my new moo (http://uk.moo.com/) business cards arrived yesterday, and they're looking really good! I chose the mat rounded corner ones and I'm really pleased with the result.

Little fatty owl is also present on my cards, and when my website is all done, it'll all be nice and cohesive^^ sadly, I have no idea when it'll be done:/ hopefully in not too long...

Most of next week will consist of drawing and trying to connect with potential clients, scary and fun at the same time...

I'm going to see if I'll be able to get a proper portfolio printed as well. I have my iPad, which I currently use as a portfolio, but I think a printed one would add a little extra. Maybe I'll bring booklets or something, so I can leave it behind when I've been at clients... What do you think?

Ok, I think that was more or less all I have for you, even though I haven't posted anything in two weeks... It feels like I have so much to show, but I'm not in a position to show it yet, so be patient and I'll show more as things gets ok to show^^

I'll also show of my little side project soon:D think I'll make a dev blog for it when I think it's ready and I know I'll be able to work properly on it^^

Norway day!

First of I want to start with saying happy 17th of may to all my fellow Norwegians! Have a great celebration:D

In other news, I'm working on some commissions again:D But more on that later, when I can actually show stuff.

I started the new drawing that I failed to finish last week and had to scrap, but I haven't had the time to finish it yet.. So I'm giving you a warmup sketch I did one of these days.

And my website is still not up:/ sadly... But have another owl for now^^

Now I have to sprint to my day job, all work and no play the next two days.

Come back next week, and I'll make sure the site is all done and my drawing is finished!

Why hellu,

I haven't actually finished the drawing I wanted to finish this week... Because it failed and I had to scrap it, and start over again. Which made me frustrated, so I started making a walk cycle instead... shorre...

But I do have some doodles though! The first one is of me and my bf, the second one is a bunch of croquis drawings collected over the last half year, that'll be like, the three or four times I've gone so far... (yeah, I don't go often enough... shame on me...)

OH, news on my new website! It's not done yet:( but here's to it hopefully being done soon^^ in the mean time, have another owl!

Ok, well that was all for this time! I think I might feel comfortable shearing my secret project soon... soooooon..

a little late.

I was going to blog yesterday, but then I did something stupid and I got so upset I had to go to bed...

I was stupid enough to web scale the drawing I was working on after I had saved the psd (which is normal...), then I fixed something and accidentally hit ctrl s again... And I had played to much around with it to go back after the web scaling.

;n;

So this will only ever be a drawing I can show the web. Tough way to learn about automatic snapshot for every save...

Anyway, this is some fanart I threw together after getting some constructive feedback on my portfolio. It's the Kid, from the game Bastion.

And then I downloaded Blender, and tried my hands on it properly for the first time. It was a bit confusing at the start, as I'm used to Maya. But Maya's so expensive and my trial had run out, and Blender is free! To celebrate the fact that I didn't suck as much as I thought I would, have an Amsterdam house!

The newest version of Blender is actually quite good and the UI is a lot better than the one I tried for five minutes four or five years ago:P

Ok, that was all I had for this time. We used about five days to get my new computer up and running, so yeh, I know it's not much...

What?... How...?

Yep, it's firday again. And I've got some small stuff to show.

First of, I've been trying to build my own website for quite some time now... More or less four years... I also tried to get my boyfriend to help me build one... But as it never happened, I went and payed a dude to build it for me:D It's not done yet, but I think it'll be done in not too long^^

That's what I've been working on for the last week, graphics for the website.

Here's a little owl I made for it.

And then I had trouble sleeping the other day so I filled a "page" with faces.
